Flaming Lezzies

Our friend Elaine joins us again on our podcast.  We love having a guestbian!  What do you do when you are in a committed relationship and a younger single lesbian that you don’t know very well invites you to lunch?  It is hard to know a single gal’s intentions.   Is it harmless because she just wants a friendship or does she want something more?  We are a little rusty with the advice giving, but we try our best.   We also ponder the question, “is it okay to fantasize about other women if you are in a relationship?”  Elaine also brings some gossip about some friends we know.   It involves a lesbian who just got out of a 15 year relationship with another woman and now she is kissing a man.  We also talk about the L Word and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and we “fantasize” about the possibility of Lea Michele and Dianna Agron being a couple.

There are so many great things happening for the LGBT community. Several people have come out recently. Congratulations to Chely Wright, Jennifer Knapp, and Ricky Martin. We are so happy for them! Lithuania holds a gay pride parade. It is the first march held in Lithuania. We also discuss what is going on in our life. Shay has been having some interesting luck lately as well as some memory loss. Crispy learns to cuss during this podcast. As usual we don’t forget to bring our feistiness. We also talk about the passing of our kitty Zoe, we will really miss her. Shay’s birthday is coming up on the 19th of May she will be 31 and Crispy will be 30 on June 23rd. Finally Crispy will be 30 and cannot give other people who are 30 such a hard time!

Shay is finally posting the podcast we recorded on New Year’s Day. Since it is New Year’s Day we are looking back at the decade. We are in a serious mood during this podcast as we discuss major events that happened in the last ten years. So many major events occurred, from September 11^th to Hurricane Katrina. There were also a lot of advances in technology. We cannot live without Twitter, Myspace and Facebook. Of course everything can be accessed from an iPhone. We also try to remember a few things that happened in our own lives as well. It was easy for us to remember February 22, 2003 the day that Shay and Crispy became a couple. After being away for a couple of weeks we are really chatty. We are all over the place as we discuss a lot of different issues. Our topics range from baby penguins to porn and oh so much more. Shay is also hoping that Eggo’s come back really soon. We love watching our documentaries.
